CCECC ready to assist Vanuatu’s new engineering graduates

PSC launches new website and uniform

The Public Service Commission (PSC) launched its new website and uniform Tuesday this week in Port Vila.

The achievement was marked as a milestone for the development of the institution.

PSC Secretary, Jacque Gideon says, “It is a dream come through, today is a new page in the history of PSC to launch our new uniform and website”.

The uniform is in three parts and will be used on different days according to the PSC schedules; each of the uniform has the PSC logo with one in Bislama, English and French language.

PSC Corporate Service Unit (CSU) manager, Webster Alilee, told the staff to always respect the pride of the uniform and use it for official use only.

The new website was created with the support of the office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO).

Chairlady; Christina Thyna says the uniform is a step towards professionalism in a work place.

“PSC’s main goal is to improve its image and service in the country and region as a whole.

“There will be more respect to our employees when they wear this uniform.

“This uniform and website will promote PSC to the region and the world.”

While the PSC management celebrated the achievement of the office the PSC, chairman Martin Mahe is reportedly on a trip to the Bahamas.

Mahe told Daily Post online that the new website and uniform are important to be more visible, and a channel to communicate with the public as a whole.

The Chairman said PSC he welcomes any positive and negative feedbacks from the members of the public on the development in order for the public service institution to progress.
