Government hands over 23 buses for Pacific Mini Games
THE Vanuatu Government through the Public Service Commission has signed a contract with Van2017 to hand over 23 buses to be used for the 10th Pacific Mini Games.
PSC Responds to doctors' concerns
Responding to the doctors’ concerns, Chairman stated in a letter dated November 8, 2017 that “I remind you that you are appointed as doctors to provide health services to the people of Vanuatu in view of your continuing threats to the Commission, please note that you are free to tender 3 months’ notice of resignation should you not happy with your current conditions".
Gov’t Pay Increase
Over 6,000 government employees in the public service, teaching service, the police, parliament and those under the Official Salaries Act, will receive a pay rise for the first time in 11 years that will cost the Government of Vanuatu nearly Vt1.9 billion.
Director General positions to be occupied before end of year 2017
The vacant positions of Directors General in eight Government ministries are expected to be occupied shortly.
