Mahe reappointed PSC Chairman

Martin Mahe has been reappointed as Chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC).

His term ended on April 14 and his appointment was made by the Head of State, Obed Moses Tallis pursuant to sub articles 59 (1) and 59 (2) of the Constitution, after consultation with the Prime Minister.

The instrument of his appointment was gazetted yesterday.

Mahe’s reappointment means he has occupied the position for four consecutive years, making him the longest serving person occupying the chairmanship position.

President Tallis also appointed two other members of the Commission. They are: Glen Niowenmal and Wendy Florence Garae.
